My Favorite Christmas Cookie Recipe (Video)

How to make 'Peanut Butter Blossoms'

Ingredients

• Flour
• Baking Soda
• Salt
• Peanut Butter
• Sugar
• Brown Sugar
• Vanilla
• 1 Egg
• 1 Stick of softened Butter

Recipe - Makes roughly 3 Dozen Cookies

• Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
• Sift together and set aside
  • 1 3/4 cup - Flour
  • 1 teaspoon -  Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon - Salt
• Cream together in a mixing bowl
  • 1/2 cup - Softened Butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup - Peanut Butter
• Gradually add 1/2 cup Sugar
• Gradually add 1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar
  • Blend together thoroughly
• Add 1 Egg and beat well
• Add 1 teaspoon Vanilla and mix
• Gradually blend in dry ingredients you sifted and set aside earlier

Baking

• Shape dough into small balls (approximately 1 teaspoon full)
• Roll dough into regular Sugar
• Place roughly 1 dozen balls on un-greased cookie sheet, or sheet with parchment paper
• Bake for 8 Minutes
• Remove and quickly (and gently) top with Hershey Kiss
• Bake for an additional 2 Minutes
• Cool for roughly 2 hours to allow hardening
