The Future of Our Generation

We have been born into technology. Our generation is the first to grow up completely comfortable in technology. We have been held responsible for easing preceding generations into technological advances. Our elders wish that technology would slow down as we push it forward evermore. We strive for new and greater advances, which benefit ourselves. We rarely consider the immense consequences of our choices and actions.

Many do not realize the great weight on our shoulders and show no restraint. Innovative technological advances are important and have helped humanity greatly. There will, however, be a time soon when we will be faced with crucial choices. In years to come our generation will know so much more than humans have ever before. We will have the opportunity to alter our earth forever. We will have the opportunity to change humanity forever.

Because of these chances, we need to know now where we think technology should be stopped, if in fact it should be. Should we take it upon ourselves to decide how much is too much or simply continue advancing at the quickest pace possible? We must ask and answer these questions now so that our standards are set.

Our generation needs to learn to be responsible and thoughtful now so we are able to stick to our morals and make the right decisions later in life. We need to quickly become mature and function in society with fellow adults. This will give us the power to become strong dependable citizens who can be trusted with our future.

I know ways to save a few dollars during the summer may seem important to us now, but there are much more important things to be concerned with. We need to learn important lessons from these tips rather than just take them at face-value. From seemingly insignificant instances we can learn there are always options and, of course, that money does not buy happiness. These lessons will help us to become more responsible adults ready for anything.

The future is ours! Lets start planning for the future as we learn and advance. This will ensure the best lives for our parents, us, our children and grandchildren, and the rest of humanity. We can learn to get along with others and work together despite our differences. This is crucial, so dedicate yourself to becoming the best person you can be.
