I am enrolled in St. Charles Community College on my A+ ride. I plan to take my general education courses and then transfer to Barnes Jewish College to get my RN while minoring in exercise physiology. If appointed this job I will be willing to take a year off of school.

Something that is important to me is education about our bodies. I understand that health is taught in our schools and sex is introduced. I think that sex is normally the only thing talked about though. Most kids don't understand what the word diabetes means, much less what the differences of Type one and two are. I believe that the cases of heart disease and diabetes could be reduced in a simple classroom in high school, maybe even middle school. If we start at a young age of knowing how to protect our bodies, it is easier to carry the healthy habits in our adult lives.
