Kevin's current situation:

After a few years of college I realized it’s not my thing. That's not to say I didn't learn anything or apply what I learned, I just want to do what I love and not what someone else feels I should do. So now I'm here working hard by day doing odd jobs like construction, valet, bartending, and whatever else comes my way to pay the bills.

By night I can pursue my passion... entertainment: acting, singing, comedy. I'm sure if you've been downtown you've caught a glimpse of me at some time or another. I make sure to put myself in the social spotlight to make the connections I need to be where I want to be.

Kevin's blog post:

I left the home at 16, and everything else like family and security at 20 to come to this city, open the doors of opportunity, and follow my dreams. I’m proving to myself and the world that the American Dream still exists. I'm an optimist, and a survivor... You have no idea the things I have done or eaten just to get by. It is that mentality I know will take me places.

  • I want to take others with me.
  • I want to prepare my generation for the adult world in a fun, entertaining way.
  • I want to help people learn from my mistakes.
  • I want to inform people on how to manage expenses while still having fun, going out, and enjoying life.
  • I want to pass on the self-taught lessons I wish someone had shared with me.

I see stories of successful people and the pioneers of this country and can’t help but notice how alike our minds are... We have vision, passion, the power to lead, and the will to do so.

Kevin
